Carter Taylor

President

Carter Taylor has had a lifetime of industry experience growing up with a father who pioneered many innovations in the industry. He brings a high level of knowledge and efficiency to the industry including field analysis, mapping, and the positioning of installation lines through the latest state of the art GPS. He has spent time in the Middle East on projects, and leads LIDCO as the largest farm drainage company in the Western United States.

Carter remains active in Brawley Rotary Club where he has served as President and as a Board member. Currently he is Assistant District Governor to Rotary District 5340. Carter has served as President of the Pioneers Memorial Hospital Foundation. Carter’s hobbies include playing guitar during worship at Western Avenue Baptist Church, bicycle riding and roping.

Glenn Drown

Glenn Drown has been involved with LIDCO since 1979. He heads up general operations outside of the Imperial Valley and brings the highest level of expertise to the job. From helping the farmer to understand the significant economic benefits of drainage to mapping and overseeing installation, Glenn has been integrally involved in the evolution of the industry. His experience prior to association with LIDCO was in the drain tile maintenance and cleaning business. He has brought this maintenance expertise into LIDCO so it is now the region’s most fully integrated drainage company.

James Jameson

Chairman

James Jameson is Chairman and / or major shareholder of companies in aerospace, agriculture, education, publishing, book distribution, film production, and real estate in 20 countries around the world. Mr. Jameson serves on the Advisory Board for the Scripps Institution of Oceanography and the Chancellor’s Executive Advisory Cabinet, both at the University of California at San Diego. He also serves on the Board of Overseers at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Reason Foundation, a policy think tank focused on free market solutions to societal problems. Mr. Jameson is also member of the Board of Directors for Mekong Capital in Vietnam, one of Vietnam’s largest private equity funds. He previously served as an Assistant Secretary of Commerce in the George H.W. Bush Administration.

Mr. Jameson graduated from Stanford University with both a B.A. and M.B.A. He is married, has two children, and resides in Rancho Santa Fe, California.

Justin Jameson

Executive Board Member

Justin Jameson serves as a board member for LIDCO. He is also a Program Manager at General Atomics Corporation where he is responsible for standing up several international technology businesses. Previously he served as a project manager and business development manager for Northrop Grumman, where he was responsible for the market development of the Firebird Optionally Piloted Aircraft.

Justin also serves on the board of Lentera Africa, an Agricultural technology and fertilizer company in Kenya. Justin received a B.A. in Industrial Engineering and a M.S. in Engineering Management from the University of Southern California. He has obtained his MBA from IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland. He serves on the Board of the USC Epstein School of Industrial Engineering.

Alexandra Jameson

Executive Board Member

Alexandra Jameson is the Managing Partner of Jameson Global Development where she oversees eight operating companies throughout the U.S., Europe, Africa, and Asia, along with a portfolio of private equity investments. 

Prior to this role, Alexandra served at the U.S. Department of State in several capacities including Special Assistant to the Director or Policy Planning and Desk Officer for Egypt and Libya within the Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs North Africa Office. Alexandra has an extensive background in foreign policy, real estate, agriculture, and education. In 2015, Alexandra founded an international school in Kigali, Rwanda. Previously she worked as a business analyst in Cairo, Egypt at Delta Inspire, an investment management and venture capital fund focused on job growth and economic improvement after the Arab Spring. 

Alexandra received a dual B.A. in International Relations and Spanish from the University of Southern California and an M.A. in Political Science from the American University in Cairo with a focus on Political Islam. Alexandra is a member of the Peterson Institute for International Economics’ Global Future Council.

Rocky Hampton

Southern California

Regional Manager

Rocky Hampton earned his B.S. in Business Administration from Biola University. Prior to joining LIDCO, he worked for Ag Laboratory & Consulting selling agronomy lab services, CALEVOO managing an olive orchard, and Hortau selling remote irrigation monitoring equipment. 

Rocky is active in supporting local youth through Gateway Church of Brawley.

Mike Schnack

Northern California

Regional Manager

Mike Schnack joined the LIDCO team in 2016. As a resident of West Sacramento, Mike will be LIDCO’S local presence in Northern California. He will assist with surveying, planning, and managing installations.

From a young age, Mike has been involved in the Agricultural Community, and prior to LIDCO he spent 10 years in the equipment industry. Mike is married with 2 young daughters, and outside of work can be found either fishing the Sacramento Delta or volunteering at his daughter’s school.

Mike Busby PG, EIT

Business Development

Mike Busby is a Professional Geologist with a Masters in Water Engineering from the BioResources and Agricultural Engineering Department at Cal Poly State University San Luis Obispo. He has over a decade of experience providing engineering and geologic services for a wide range of water resource projects, including groundwater recharge system design and installation; water well design, installation, and rehabilitation; small and large scale groundwater and soil remediation projects, and the design of potable water, stormwater, and wastewater systems. 

Busby loves to camp and surf with his wife and two kids. He is also an avid trail runner, who competes in ultramarathons, obstacle course races, and adventure races.
